In November 2021 we have the privilege of sharing with Beaver Club, where Hannah did a live Book Read and answers the children’s questions, whilst Helen shared about illustrating the story. After which it was time to move and the children enjoyed a variety of games, oriented around colours and emotions, before dividing into groups for some small group discussions where they shared about some of the moments in the story and related it to their own lives. Our time together was concluded with the children reflecting on how they could ‘shine’, thinking of practical ways they could positively share with others, filling in a ‘I Can Shine Certificate’ and receiving the very popular stickers.
