Sharing with the children is one of the best parts of writing and publishing a book and on the 31st of March we were able to visit the DHI Homework Club and share with approx. 50 children between the ages of 5 -16yrs old.
The kids loved how Hannah had written a book whilst still in primary school and asked so many questions we could have been there all evening. Several of the children shared about how they too love writing and hope to publish their own work, so we hope that Hannah’s journey can be an inspiration to many other young writers.
Through the ‘Love Where You Live’ grant from the local council we were able to gift each child with their own copy. The work of the homework club spans over three locations and every child who is involved in the Homework club received a copy. We are hoping to visit the other locations before the summer holidays.
If you run a children’s club and would like to look at ways of running a workshop or having a visit if you are local please get in touch.
